Spotlight on Hair Company Sleek Lengths
We got a chance to do an interview with hair line Sleek Lengths and we were really impressed. The owner of
the company is a very intelligent woman and has a great collection of hair. Feel free to check out the interview
and get to know more about the company & owner.
What is Sleek Lengths? Sleek Lengths is Virgin Hair Boutique; my company provides top of the line Brazilian, Malaysian, and Peruvian Virgin Hair. I believe that hair enhances a woman’s beauty, which is why I only provide the very best extensions for my clients; helping boost self-assurance, confidence, and sex appeal.
What made you decide to create a hair company? I started Sleek Lengths Virgin Hair Boutique because I Love Hair Weave (Especially Good Hair Weave); as a woman I consistently spent top dollars on beauty supply brand hair that only lasted a few weeks. I personally became fed up. I decided to give the ladies an exclusive brand of hair without the expensive price tag. I Only Provide Sleek Hair That Never Goes Out of Style! Women should be able to be as Sleek & Gorgeous as they wish, without being forced to break the bank!
How long have you been selling hair? I’ve been selling virgin hair for a total of two years (8months online/national)
Where do you get your inspiration for your selections of hair? I follow the trends of my consumers. What’s in and what’s not and I select from there.
How do you make sure your company keeps up with all the latest hair trends? I have a lot of friends and family members that wear hair extensions. I use them do a sample test on what they like and dislike about the hair. I also give them surveys that help me keep up to date on the trends.
What would you say sets your company apart from other hair lines? Offering top of the line long lasting Virgin Hair for an affordable price sets Sleek Lengths Virgin Hair Boutique apart from the rest.
Prior to owning your own business what was your previous jobs? Prior to starting my Sleek Lengths, I worked as an Office Assistant and a Human Resource Assistant for Northwestern University.
Did you all self-teach yourself everything you know or did you go to school for your business? I study business but I didn’t complete my degree, but I’ve self-taught myself how to run the company
What’s the positive side of owning a business? You work at your own pace and schedule.
What’s the negative? Fulfilling all expectations of you clients, it’s sometimes difficult.
Do you have any difficult clients? Every company has its fair share of difficult customers! At first I had a lot of customers that didn’t understand what virgin hair is. I found myself explaining what virgin hair is, how to style it, & what products to use. I also got a lot of self- proclaimed fashion/hair guru’s emailing, calling, tweeting for free products.
If so how do you deal with them? I fully explain to them what they need to know in full detail and answer all there questions. It’s not that they are difficult but more so uneducated on what Virgin Hair actually is.
What is your key demographic and how do you attract business from them? Sleek Lengths Virgin Hair Boutique has an open demographic due to the fact that people of all ages and walks of life are becoming more enthusiastic and more into Virgin Hair.
Do you have any other goals that you want to complete that goes along with your hair company? Yes www.new-paris-fashion.com. I also sell clothes and accessories.
Do you have any opportunities for those who would like to join your business? At this present moment I don’t have any opportunities for others to join.
What status do you hope to have in the hair industry? I want to show the Hair Industry that you can get top of the line Virgin Hair without breaking the bank.
Do you have any final words or suggestions for people wanting to also start their own company? If you have an idea for a company and you come up with a constructive plan you should go for it. Nothing should hold you back from chasing your dreams and aspirations. It can sometimes be a tough road but if you stumble, shake it off, and keep pushing at whatever it is you want to accomplish. If people didn’t take risks that own fortune five companies some brands would not exist today!
